SS Devanha – Ship model
This is a 3D model I created for a Movie called “1911 Revolution”. The request from the client was to make a mid-res model, textures included, and I had 10 days for it. The model refers to a ship that really existed, but according to the research I did before starting, the ship made its final voyage on 22 May 1925, and was ultimately sold for scrap. So the references were very few and small, and I also had to match some of the features of the ship they used for the live action shooting.
I had a lot of fun with it, even doing some look-dev with Mental ray and Nuke.
